How much does an animated video cost?

One of the first questions we get asked when we take an enquiry for animated video is "how much does it cost", which is a perfectly reasonable question. But it really does depend. It's like saying "how much does a house cost?" - what area is it in, how many bedrooms does it have, is it detached, does it have a garage and a garden?
