Business Runnymede are a department of Runnymede Borough Council and wanted to create a video to attract business to their borough by highlighting the many benefits of the area. The key aspects they were keen to include were their proximity to London and Heathrow, their numerous business parks – home to a thriving business community with a number of international brands – and their offering as a vibrant place to live and play, not to mention their exceptional facilities for international and higher education. We took on the task of filming a whole borough council in just a two day shoot, working together footage from all over the region to show off its best assets. We rose to this logistical challenge with a two person crew and a very thorough production schedule. To pep up the shots of business parks and aerial shots we incorporated camera tracked text to and on-screen graphics to emphasise key messaging, and created a bespoke animated sequence at the top of the promo video to help contextualise for international businesses.
Business Runnymede
The borough of Runnymede is located close to Heathrow, the M25, the M3 and London making it the perfect hub for international business - but more than that it offers and lush and green setting for employees to live and play. Business Runnymede wanted a promotional video to sit on their website so that they could attract new businesses to the area and keep the big brands in residence.
We needed to film 16 different locations around an area of 78km² in just two days, so it was critical to map out a route that maximised our time and efficiency.
