GLF Schools’ Foundation – Fundraising Campaign

GLF Schools have launched a Foundation to fund additional enrichment to children within the trust, aiming to reduce the impact of socio-economic barriers on the life experiences of their students.
We produced a video for them that forms part of their fundraising campaign to encourage donations and raise awareness.

"Working with Square Daisy has been faultless from start to finish. Jovan and the team understood the brief and used their vast experience to guide us in the right direction to create the video. All of the work prior to filming was instrumental in ensuring that the filming day within one of our schools was efficient and professionally run. All of the edits were completed efficiently and communication during this period was brilliant, no changes seemed an issue to the team whatsoever. Thank you for creating such a brilliant video, one that hopefully all our students will benefit from." Jak Martin, GLF Schools' Foundation

The purpose of this video production is to raise awareness of the Foundation and why it was set up – highlighting the inequality of life experiences and opportunities that students have access to depending on their financial situation. The team who are launching the foundation wanted to involve some of the school children in the trust to resonate with people watching the video who may have children their age, and to give a voice to the people at the heart of the campaign. We assisted with scripting, planned the storyboard and arranged a one-day shoot in one of the trust’s schools with a handful of students as the stars of the production. In the edit, we used sophisticated on-screen graphics to pull out key figures and quotes to emphasise the messaging, and combined the b-roll footage we gathered with stock footage to represent the full range of activities and experiences the trust will be funding.
