Shippo are a company based in Redhill who specialise in importing from Asia to the UK. At the core of their business is a desire to help first time importers and make the shipping and importing process as simple as possible, because there are many complicated hurdles to jump over! They wanted an explainer video to convey how they simplify the process and take all the hassle away from the importer.
This video was created to help give potential customers a quick understanding of how the Shippo service works and is unique. It’s message is straightforward, un-cluttered and friendly, and the visual style matches this. Whilst the animation techniques involved aren’t overly complex, the continuity and pace are easy to follow, making it very easy to understand.
Square Daisy was responsible for refining an original script idea, developing the storyboard and all assets along with voiceover recording. The sound FX were added to a library bedding and animations done in After Effects. The great news is that 3 years on the video is still bringing business to Shippo and they regularly get great comments from customers.
