We worked with the marketing team at Squires to plan 10 videos across various Autumn topics, scheduling a 2-day location shoot with 3 in-house presenters selected from their centre managers. The videos include how-to videos, guides, gardening inspiration and topical ‘on trend’ gardening tips. For each of the videos we identified the action and planned out the shots, focusing on the content that the marketing team wanted to prioritise.
On the shoots we used a combination of static and handheld camera to make sure the specific action was captured – in the context of an educational video the close-ups are really important to show the viewer how each step is carried out. The final videos combine the live action footage with uniform title cards and motion graphics to reinforce the key points of the tutorials. As part of the package we also created captioned social snippets from each of the videos in a square aspect ratio for use on Instagram, encouraging viewers to head to YouTube to watch the full version.
