TempRocket – Animated Explainer

TempRocket came to us with a need to explain their new hiring platform for temporary workers - with a focus initially on schools and teachers. We created a series of animated videos for them, specifically targeting the different users and how the service benefits them.

"Wow, that is very impressive, thank you - it certainly has a strong impact." Andrew Johnston, Founder - TempRocket

TempRocket developed a brand new way of hiring temporary staff, alleviating the stress of the workplace phoning around multiple agencies, and allowing a more efficient workflow for agencies. They knew they were onto something good but needed to explain their new service to the people who would be using it in the first release – schools, agencies and teachers. That’s where we stepped in!

As there were two main audiences with very different needs we decided to create two versions of the animation – one for schools and one for agencies. We developed an attention-grabbing script for each that hooked the desired audience straight away. We used accessible character design and built the assets in Adobe Illustrator inline with the TempRocket branding. The animation style is fun, and creates lots of different environments for the characters to exist in. The end result is finished nicely with an upbeat soundtrack and a powerful call to action.

In total we created 3 animated videos for TempRocket, one for schools, one for agencies, and a longer generic video for them to use when they were able to open up the platforms to all kinds of workers and hirers.
