Our longstanding clients at Omron were approached by swimming pool specialists Topline to help them realise their vision of a UV-C cleaning robot. They have been using UV rays to kill pathogens in their pools for years and wanted to bring it to the mass market as a cleaning robot for the post-covid world. We created two videos for Topline – one longer explainer video to really convey the science behind the technology and demonstrate it’s many applications, and a second short edit for social media to grab people’s attention and generate interest.
We headed to Omron HQ for a covid-safe shoot to gather lots of cool footage of the robot in action. In post-production we used motion-tracking to add text and annotations right into the scenes, creating a sophisticated, engaging video and reinforcing the key facts and stats that make their product so compelling.
