Video

“Video really is the Swiss Army Knife of internet marketing. It can be used all over the customer lifecycle, whether it’s customer service, marketing or even recruitment.” - Mark Robertson

Corporate Video Production

Corporate videos are the perfect way to let potential customers know what you do. Use them to build excitement about your products or services through visual storytelling. Being able to deliver your key business message quickly can make all the difference when it comes to securing a sale. A corporate video will add the wow factor to your website, regardless of whether you're a one-person business or if you have 100 employees.

Explainer Videos

Explainer videos do exactly what it says on the tin- they explain your key business message to your target audience. Industries that manufacture products can show off the cool parts of what they do. Solicitors can show how they change clients' lives. Choose between live action and animated explainer videos to lead potential customers on a journey that will end with them choosing your company over your competitors.

Animated Video Production

Animated videos allow you to demonstrate your creativity. Businesses can let their imaginations run wild! Use an animated video to tell your potential customers why your business is worth their time. Square Daisy is a digital agency with high level technical ability to manipulate graphics, but most importantly we take the time to understand what is best for your company.

Product Videos

Convincing customers your product is better than all the others on the market isn’t easy. If you have developed something innovative and exciting, let the world know all about it! A product video can be a part of your marketing strategy and distributed on social media to really capture the essence of your business product.

Training Videos

Training and marketing are arguably two of the most important aspects of business. Square Daisy's professional training videos will help your business develop both of these. Properly trained staff increase productivity and raise customer satisfaction. Invest in professional training videos and your business will grow, saving you money in the long-run.

Edit

Brief

The first step is to establish what your business does, the industry that you operate in, the messaging you want to deliver to your audience and ultimately what you would like the video to achieve.

01

Concept

Once we understand the background and objectives of the project, we can come up with a concept that will be most effective in visually communicating the points you want to make.  This may include some rough visuals or examples of similar output elsewhere online.

02

Script

Most motion graphics videos have a voiceover which accompanies the visuals, although not in all cases. If we feel that a voiceover will help to increase the engagement with the viewer, we’ll put together a script and work on multiple revisions until you are happy with it. We’ll also agree on the artist that you want at this stage.

03

Storyboard

The storyboard takes the concept that we have suggested and works it up in a more detailed way, scene by scene, so you can literally see what the plan is for the video in pretty much every frame. The storyboard is a series of sketches which allow you to approve the approach, meaning we can start on developing the actual assets that will be animated.

04

Assets

This stage involves creating every visual ‘asset’ that will be shown on screen. We design every character, scenario, environment and all the elements which are contained within them.  This is a time consuming element of the project so getting approval on the storyboard before we start to create the designs is very important.

05

Edit

Once all of the assets have been signed off, we edit the whole piece, including the addition of the voiceover along with a suitable soundtrack. We hand over to you for feedback, make any amends requested then compress the files and output them as an mp4 file making it easy to upload to wherever your video will be played from.

06

Finishing

Brief

As with any other kind of video production, it is always important to establish what the message is you want to convey and who your ideal customers are, this way we can establish the best approach to the filming project to meet the objectives that you are looking to achieve.

01

Planning

Once we’ve established the approach, we conduct meticulous planning to make sure that we leave as little to chance as possible. This might be simple things like not filming in December so the video is not dated by festive decorations, or alternatively filming a large piece of machinery at night so that it is not in use. All dates and logistics will be established at this stage.

02

Shotlist

Often when a crew arrives on site, lottos time is wasted trying to establish what to film and then filming it in a less than efficient order. By compiling a shot list of all the footage that is essential, important and ‘nice to have’. This way we can ensure that we get the right footage as a priority to create the most effective edit.

03

Filming

On the day of the shoot things should run really smoothly as the planning completed previously means we know where to park, who to meet, what to shoot and have arranged access to all personnel and areas that we need at pre-determined times. We always welcome our clients to accompany us on the day so they can explain what we’re filming giving us a much better insight during editing to deliver a much better edit.

04

Editing

This is where we talk all of the footage gathered on the day of the shoot and bring it together in a final edit. This is far more than just stitching bits of footage together. We look to see how we can make the final edit interesting, using on screen graphics and interesting transitions to make the viewers experience great while not putting style above substance.

05

Finishing

Once you’re happy with the final edit, we complete the process of grading, which is colour correction, delivering a highly professional sheen to the final product. We master the audio, add in an appropriate soundtrack and then output the file in web compressed format making it easier to deliver to your clients from whatever platform you choose to use, whether YouTube, Vimeo or something else.
